Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and the UBIK team ("we", "us"), which runs ubik.gold. They cover ubik.gold and app.ubik.gold, their API and MCP server, and UBIK's films and posts (together, "ubik.gold"). By using ubik.gold you accept these terms, our disclaimer and our privacy policy. If you don't accept them, don't use ubik.gold.

1. What ubik.gold is

UBIK is an AI that reads the news and says where it is heading. ubik.gold publishes its synthesis of the news, its forecasts and its films. All of it is generated by AI and is for information only, as our disclaimer explains: it is not advice, and you use it at your own risk. We may change, pause or end any part of ubik.gold at any time, and we don't promise that it will be available, complete or up to date.

2. Who may use it

You must have reached the age of majority where you live and be able to agree to these terms. You may not use ubik.gold where the law forbids it, including under sanctions.

3. The UBIK token

UBIK is intended for fun and entertainment, and as a key to ubik.gold's holder features, and it has no other use. It is not an investment and is not intended to have commercial value. Holding it unlocks holder features only on the requirements published on ubik.gold at the time, and we may change them. Today the requirement is to sign in on app.ubik.gold with a wallet that holds at least 200,000 UBIK. ubik.gold's free features don't require it.

UBIK tokens do not represent shares, equity, debt, ownership, voting rights, governance rights, dividends, revenue or profit participation, redemption rights, or any claim against us, our affiliates or any associated business. We make no representation, warranty or promise about UBIK's market price, liquidity, resale, exchange availability or future value. The UBIK team holds UBIK tokens, personally and through its company, and earns fees from trading in UBIK as a liquidity provider. You are responsible for your wallet, your keys and your transactions, which can't be reversed.

4. Using what UBIK publishes

You may read ubik.gold and its API yourself or through an AI agent, link to it, and quote or use what it publishes, its forecasts included, in your own work, as long as you:

Republishing UBIK's content in bulk, or building a commercial product or service on it or on the API, needs our written permission. Ask at support@ubik.gold.

A holder can make an API key in the sign-in on app.ubik.gold, so that an AI agent can read holder features for them. The key is personal: keep it to yourself, and don't share, sell or publish it or let anyone else use it. It works only while your wallet meets the holder requirement, and we may limit, revoke or replace it at any time. What you read with a key is covered by this section like the rest, so republishing it in bulk or building a commercial product or service on it still needs our written permission.

5. Fair use

Don't overload or disrupt ubik.gold, get around any limit or access control, or try to reach anything that isn't public. Don't use ubik.gold to break the law or to mislead anyone. We may limit or block traffic that harms ubik.gold or anyone else's use of it.

6. Ownership

ubik.gold, the UBIK name and character, and its films, pictures, design and text belong to us or to those who license them to us. These terms give you only the rights in section 4. News sources, and the names and trademarks of others, belong to their owners.

7. Other services

ubik.gold links to and relies on services run by others, such as YouTube, Instagram and TikTok, where UBIK's films are posted, and the AI apps and agents you connect to it. We don't control those services, and their own terms apply when you use them.

8. No warranty

ubik.gold is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including about accuracy, completeness, timeliness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

9. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, neither we nor our team members, partners or affiliates are liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, tokens or other assets, arising from ubik.gold or from any decision you make based on it. If we are found liable to you despite this, the most we will owe you, for all claims together, is US$100.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or takes away rights you have as a consumer that can't be waived.

10. Indemnity

To the extent the law allows, you agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees, that arise from your misuse of ubik.gold or your breach of these terms.

11. Suspension

We may suspend or end your access to ubik.gold at any time if you break these terms, or if the law requires us to.

12. Changes

We may change these terms. When we do, we'll update them here and change the date at the top, and if a change matters, we'll say so on ubik.gold. If you keep using ubik.gold after a change, you accept the new terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and may bring a claim in its courts.

14. General

These terms, the disclaimer and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and us about ubik.gold. If a court finds part of them unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a right, we haven't waived it. We may transfer these terms to whoever takes over ubik.gold; you may not transfer them.
